One selection. Settlement depends on that one outcome.
With decimal odds, the displayed number represents total return per unit staked if the bet wins, including the original stake. A $10 stake at decimal odds of 2.50 has a potential total return of $25 and a potential profit of $15.
| Stake | Decimal odds | Potential total return | Potential profit |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10 | 1.80 | $18.00 | $8.00 |
| $10 | 2.50 | $25.00 | $15.00 |
| $25 | 3.20 | $80.00 | $55.00 |
The simple implied-probability formula is 1 ÷ decimal odds. For 2.50, that is 1 ÷ 2.50 = 0.40, or 40%. This is a mathematical conversion of the price, not a prediction that the event has a true 40% chance.

Several selections combined. Generally all legs must win unless operator rules say otherwise.
An adjusted scoring line used to create a betting comparison between sides.
A bet on whether a combined event statistic finishes over or under a line.
Void bets, abandoned events, dead heats, overtime and market-specific settlement can be handled differently. The operator’s current betting rules control those cases.
